Hard Climb. This painting tells me that success in business and life is a hard climb everyday A Don't Worry, Be Happy Man amongst the Magnificent 12 Saffron Robes. Exploring Myanmar Yangon.  A good photograph does not happen every day. On my 2nd visit to Yangon in Dec 2008, the lighting from the sun was just not there and none of my photographs were even half as good as the Oct 2008 one shown here. Now, what are the beautiful people doing in the wall painting at Yangon Airport?  Are they going to a barge? Why?
         
    A "Thanaka" Mother. For the first-time visitor to Myanmar, seeing so many young girls and women with yellowish-white powder on their faces in the countryside is an unforgettable sight.  The make-up is extracted from the plants, presumed to be named Thanaka. Paintings of Thanaka girls are sometimes seen.
